On Thursday , our student teacher showed us how to add scent to candles. She used an orange candle, orange peels, and a lighter. She lit up the candle and started doing this weird thing with the orange peel to kind of make the orange scent go onto the candle.

@ Judy Moody - I love your website! one thing though: didn't Ms. Fei use the orange to make the candle flicker, not to scent the candle?

@ Judy Moody - Hmmmm, are you sure it was about the scent? I think Ms. Fei demonstrated that the oils/liquid from the orange peels could create a flame when sprayed into a flaming candle. Do you recall this?

Because the citrus was over the flame; the sent was citrus; this was mixed with the carbon dioxide that was released into the air.
